The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s soccer team, undefeated in their first 11 regular season games, defeated the Carleton University Ravens, 3-0, on Friday, October 9 in Ottawa.

Richmond Hill native Jessica Fantozzi, Mel Bowen (West Vancouver, B.C.), and Nav Deol (Mississauga, Ont.) each had a goal for the Blues and Mary Anne Barnes (Scarborough, Ont.) earned her sixth shutout victory of the season.

The Varsity Blues move to a record of 9-0-2 and into a tie for first place in the OUA East with Ottawa, both teams sitting at 29 points.

You can catch the next Blues’ home game on Friday, October 16 when Toronto plays host to the Laurentian Lady Vees. Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
