The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s water polo team handily defeated the York Lions 10-3 on Thursday, October 22 at Tait McKenzie Centre.

Seven different Varsity Blues contributed in U of T’s second victory of the season.

Casey Pottier (Kitchener, Ont.), Laura Shaw (Vancouver, B.C.) and Brittany Sinclair (Scarborough, Ont.) led the Blues with two goals each, while Susan Armstrong (Ottawa, Ont.), Nicole Brown (Burlington, Ont.), Stephanie LeSaux-Farmer (Ottawa) and Deanne Vincent (Toronto) added single tallies in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to the pool on Sunday, November 1 when they travel to Hamilton, Ont. to take on the McMaster Marauders. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
