Third-year veteran Colin McCurdy brought home his second consecutive Desjarlais Trophy as men’s epee individual champion in helping the Varsity Blues men’s fencing team to an OUA-record seventh straight provincial title this past weekend.

The astronomy and physics major from Oshawa, Ont., went 4-0 in the competition, defeating Waterloo’s James Hong, Western’s Rick Wu, York’s Kevin De-tai Wang and Brock's Nicholas Gutierrez-Sarabia to take the title.
