Second-year standout Greg MacNeill earned a silver medal in the men’s 60m hurdles at the 2014 CIS track and field championships this past weekend (March 6-8) in Edmonton.
The Brampton, Ont., native crossed the finish line in 7.83 seconds, tying Mark McKoy’s 30-year-old CIS championship record, to garner the second-place finish and CIS second team all-Canadian honours.
An American studies major, MacNeill also helped the Blues to a fourth-place finish in the men’s 4x200 relay, running the first and fastest leg in a time of 21.8 seconds en route to a team finish of 1:28.74.
