The No. 4 U of T Varsity Blues women's track and field team earned a bronze medal finish at the 2022 OUA championships and Shukla was a big reason for their success.
Winning two gold medals in the 1000m and 1500m, respectively, the Toronto, Ont., native also claimed a silver medal in the 4x400m, earning a total of 26 points for the Blues.
The fifth-year runner is ranked first in the province and the country in the 1000m and is second in the OUA and U SPORTS in the 1500m. She is set to compete for the Blues at the U SPORTS championships taking place at the Irving Oil Field House in Saint John, N.B., from March 31-April 2. Â
