Winning every single event she took part in, Kary played a big role in helping guide the No. 3 Varsity Blues to an eighth consecutive OUA championship.

Competing at the 2022 OUA swimming championships from March 10-12, the engineering major from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., won individual gold in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke events, while also collecting gold as a member of the 4x50 freestyle relay team, and the 400 medley relay team.

Following the completion of the event, Kary was then named not only the OUA rookie of the year, but also the OUA swimmer of the year.
