Bethany So was named the OUA female most valuable player for the second time in her career (2011-12) in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues badminton team to their second straight banner this past weekend at York University.
 
The now four-time OUA all-star from Toronto went undefeated in her six matches. The Faculty of Medicine student outscored her opponents 168-53 in four singles matches, including a 21-7, 21-5 triumph over Western's Claudia Tai in the championship match. 
 
So also won two mixed doubles matches in helping the Blues to a perfect 4-0 record over the three-day championship.
