Second-year midfielder Ezequiel Lubocki scored the game-tying and winning goals in leading the No. 8 Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to a 4-1 upset victory over the No. 1 York Lions in OUA semi-final action on Saturday.
 
The Winnipeg native and OUA East first team all-star evened the scored at 1-1 in the 11^th minute, jumping on a loose ball  in front of the net and firing it past the York goalkeeper.
 
The second-year peace & conflict studies major went on to notch the eventual game-winner on a Toronto penalty kick in the 61^st minute.  Lubocki sent a low, hard shot into the net, booking the Varsity Blues ticket to the 2011 CIS national championship in Victoria this week.
