The University of Toronto Varsity Blues family mourns the loss of men's rugby assistant coach Brian Krawetz.

Krawetz served as an assistant coach with the Varsity Blues men's rugby team from 2017-25, impacting the lives of countless student-athletes over the last decade.

Prior to that, Krawetz served as a development coach with the U18 Men, U20 Men, Senior Women, and Senior Men's Canadian national teams.

The Varsity Blues extend its deepest condolences to Brian's family, friends, former teammates and the many student-athletes and coaches whose lives he influenced.

A Celebration of Brian, and of the wonderful man he was, will be held at a later date in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
