BLUES FALL TO NO. 6 GRYPHONS ON THE ROAD

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's rugby team fell 137-0 to the No. 6 nationally ranked Guelph Gryphons on Saturday (Sept. 27) afternoon in Guelph, Ont. 

After today's result, the Blues fall to 1-4 on the season and Guelph improved to 4-1.

The Blues showcased their physical play during the match but Guelph's defence showed why they are one of the top team's in U SPORTS. The Gryphons scored 21 tries in the match and added 16 successful conversions. Guelph had five players score multiple tries after 80 minutes of play with Adelaide Holmes leading the way with four in the match.

The Blues will be back on the pitch on Saturday (Oct. 4) when they take on the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo, Ont. Kick off is scheduled for 12 p.m.
