The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team earned another two victories as they competed in Jester's Crossover No. 1 at Mayfair Lakeshore on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Opening their day versus the Guelph Gryphons, U of T earned a 7-0 sweep. The Blues claimed 3-0 match wins through the first five contests, while Amina Abdul Jalil and Ella Chen each thrilled the spectators in exciting 3-2 victories to close out the first series of the day. This included a complete come-from-behind effort from Chen who earned the win with set scores of 8-11, 9-11, 11-5, 11-5, 11-5.

In a much closer second series of the day, Toronto edged out a 4-3 decision versus the Queen's Gaels. Blues No. 1 player Keira Rawlins delivered a 3-0 win in the top slot, while Fatima Sultan, Kashaliyah Naidoo and Ainsley Rawlins matched that effort in the No. 5, 6 and 7 positions to confirm the overall team victory for Toronto.

The Blues will now take a perfect 4-0 start to their season into the Jester's Sectional No. 2 scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15 in London.
