U SPORTS announced the seedings and bracket for the 2025 U SPORTS Men's Soccer Championship, to be hosted by the University of Toronto. The tournament gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 6, and concludes on Sunday, Nov. 9.
The eight participating teams, listed in order of seedings, are as follows:
- #1, Toronto Varsity Blues, OUA champions/hosts (10-1-1 regular season, 3-0-0 playoffs)
- #2, Montréal Carabins, RSEQ champions (7-2-3, 2-0-0)
- #3, Dalhousie Tigers, AUS champions (8-2-2, 2-0-0)
- #4, Mount Royal Cougars, Canada West champions (7-3-4, 2-0-1)
- #5, Cape Breton Capers, AUS finalists (9-1-2, 1-1-0)
- #6, York Lions, OUA finalists (host berth) (9-1-2, 1-1-1)
- #7, UBC Thunderbirds, Canada West finalists (15-0-1, 2-1-0)
- #8, UQTR Patriotes, RSEQ regular season winners (9-0-3, 0-10)
In men's soccer, the four conference champions are seeded in positions one through four, based on their final ranking after the conclusion of conference playoffs. The remaining four teams are then placed in the bracket to avoid conference matchups in the first two rounds.Â
The entire tournament is set to take place at Varsity Stadium on the U of T St. George campus. All four quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, with the schedule being as follows: (all times Eastern)
- 11 a.m. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â #6 York vs. #3 DalhousieÂ
- 1:30 p.m. Â Â Â Â Â #7 UBC vs. #2 Montréal
- 4 p.m.              #5 Cape Breton vs. #4 Mount Royal
- 7 p.m.              #8 UQTR at #1 Toronto
Match Day 2 is set for Friday, and will see consolation games at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with semifinals to follow at 4 and 7 p.m.
The lone game on Saturday will be the fifth-place game, set for 5 p.m. Sunday will feature the bronze-medal match at 11 a.m. and the championship at 2 p.m.

All 11 games of the championship will be streamed on CBC digital platforms in English and Radio-Canada digital platforms in French.
