Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team defeated the McGill Martlets 4-0 on Saturday (Oct. 11) afternoon in Montreal, Que.

U of T's offence was strong against McGill, extending their winning streak to three games and converting off of three penalty corners.

In the 17^th minute, the Blues grabbed the lead as first-year forward Catalina Meilleur continued her strong rookie season to give U of T the advantage. Two minutes later, the Blue and White doubled their lead with third-year midfielder Alicia Lung finding the back of the net.This Blues added two more insurance markers as the game progressed. The in 25^th minute third-year forward Jayden Novak made at a 3-0 game and in the 43^rd minute third-year defender Maggie Mullins' second goal of the season helped propel Toronto to victory.

First-year Blues goaltender Mary Yang notched a shutout in net.

The Blues will take on the Martlets once again on Sunday (Oct. 12) afternoon in Montreal. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
