The Varsity Blues badminton team wrapped up pool play on Day 2 of the 2024 OUA championship on Friday, March 8 at the Melati Mas Sports Complex in Pickering Ont. 
 
The Blues beat the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 9-1 to start their competition for the day. With the win, the Blues finished round robin play in second place in Pool B with six points.  
 
Later in the day, in quarter-finals action, the Blues swept the McMaster Marauders by a score of 6-0, as the blue and white make their way to the semifinals.   

The Blues continue their hunt for their 10^th OUA title on Saturday (Mar. 9) morning against the York Lions in the OUA semifinals at 9 a.m.
