The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team continued competition at the 2024 OUA Squash Championships on Saturday (Feb. 10) at the White Oaks Resort in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ont.
On Day 2 of the event, the Blues dropped their final round-robin match in a tough 7-0 decision versus the Waterloo Warriors. Both Keera Rawlins and Deena Shah played will in the pool play contest for the Blues. However, the second round-robin loss relegated U of T into the consolation semi-final.
Facing off against the Brock Badgers, Toronto bounced right back with a 7-0 victory of their own. Most impressive, Blues veterans Madeleine Khan and Sunny Choi won all three of their games holding their opponents to six points or less in each outing.
Toronto will return to the court on Sunday (Feb. 11) morning to compete in the fifth place consolation final.Â
