Competing against Ottawa and Waterloo at Mayfair Lakeshore, the University of Toronto Varsity Blues earned two more victories with a 7-0 win over the Gee-Gees and 5-2 win versus the Warriors.
The back-to-back victories improve the Blues early season record to 4-0, placing them into a tie for first with McGill who also stand at 4-0.
In Toronto's Saturday morning sweep of Ottawa, the Blues earned six 3-0 sweeps and one default win to claim the 7-0 victory. Competing in the No. 1 slot, Keira Rawlins held her opponent to no more than three sets in her 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 match win.
Meanwhile, shifting to a late even showdown with Waterloo, U of T's depth proved to be its advantage as it won all five matches between the No. 3 and No. 7 competitors. This included 3-0 sweeps from No. 5 Shirin Batra, No. 6 Kashaliyah Naidoo, and Nicole Tomei.
The Blues will close out their fall competition schedule with a pair of matches in London on Sunday, Nov. 17. U of T will face Western and Laurier to close out 2024, returning to the court for more varsity action in mid-January.
