The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team picked up back-to-back 7-0 wins over McMaster and Brock this weekend, serving as host at the Athletic Centre for the first Jesters Sectional.

Toronto swept the opening match of the day, earning six 3-0 victories and a DF over the Marauders. Leading the way for the Blues were No. 1 player Aayah Shalaby and No. 2 Deena Shah. In tough against McMasters top player, Shalaby battled to 14-12, 11-8, 11-8 wins to secure the victory from the No. 1 slot. As for Shah, the third-year veteran claimed 11-4, 11-9, 11-8 wins to help ensure the sweep.

Shifting to the afternoon, the Blues kept the ball rolling with another impressive sweep of the Badgers. Gabrielle Amoroso rounded out the U of T competitors on the day, battling to a 3-2 win (9-11, 11-8, 13-11, 11-13, 11-9) to ensure Toronto claimed the seventh and final match-up of the day.

Jesters action will continue as teams build up to the OUA Championships, scheduled to take place in February at White Oaks Resort in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
