Box Score The Varsity Blues men's soccer team lost 2-1 to the Carleton Ravens on Sunday (Sept. 3) afternoon in Ottawa, Ont. 
 
The Ravens opened the scoring 17 minutes into the first half with a goal from Amadou Kone. 
 
Michael Maslanka led the way for the Blue and white scoring in the final minute of the first half to tie up the game heading into the second half. The first-year forward has now scored three goals in two games. 
 
The Ravens would go on to retake the lead after Luca Picciolo converted from the penalty spot with just under half an hour to play. 
 
The Blues make their way back to Toronto to play Nipissing University in their home opener on Sunday, September 10. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
