The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's rugby team return to the pitch this fall filled with optimism for their 2023 campaign.
The Blues put together a strong run of victories in 2022 to finish the regular season with a 3-3 record, reaching the OUA playoffs. The offence produced major points last fall, outscoring opponents 139-5 in their three victories from a season ago.

MARQUEE GAMES
September 2 vs. Laurier
In the opening weekend of the OUA regular season the Blues will be looking to get off to a fast start versus the Golden Hawks. Last season in Waterloo, U of T shut out Laurier 64-0, and they will be aiming to replicate that success on home turf to start out 2023.
September 23 vs. Waterloo
Following two certain tough road contests, Toronto returns to Varsity Stadium to challenge their second Waterloo-based opponent. The Blues hold a 7-4 overall record advantage over the Warriors dating back to 2009, including six straight wins over the Black and Gold.
October 7 vs. Western
Toronto closes out the regular season on the road in London versus the Mustangs. The Blues will be looking to avenge their tightly contested OUA quarter-final loss from last season, while also aiming to secure a second consecutive playoff appearance.
