The University of Toronto Varsity Blues track and field team hosted their annual Hal Brown Last Chance meet on Friday, February 17 at the Athletic Centre Field House.
MEN'S RESULTS: Jarod Manuel won the men's shot put with a best throw of 15.41m, and also placed second in the weight throw (16.25m).
Femi Akinduro won the men's long jump competition with a best jump of 6.86m. Justen Denman was fifth (6.21m). Akinduro also cleared 2.00m to win the men's high jump competition.
Brandon Tang placed second in the men's 60m dash in 6.97 seconds. Kaya Dizon-Spence was sixth in 7.16 seconds.
Dizon-Spence finished third in the men's 300m in 37.21 seconds, with Carson Bradley placing fifth in 37.45.
Mathias Gelber (1:22.41), Nick Trieu (1:23.13) and Shan Dhanoa (1:24.94) placed third, fourth and sixth in the men's 600m, while Adam Pralat (4:04.19) and Brandon Raftis (4:04.62) placed sixth and seventh in the men's 1500m.
Chris Stamadianos placed 12th in the men's 1000m in 2:35.89.Â
WOMEN'S RESULTS: Voke Ewhrudjakpor placed first in the shot put with a throw of 12.95m, while also winning the weight throw (14.51m).
Kei-Shawonna Mayenge won the women's 60m dash in 7.83 seconds, while Ivy Atem was fourth in 8.06 seconds. Anesi Anyia finished second in the women's 60m hurdles in 9.38 seconds, while Quinn Miller was right behind her in 9.41 seconds.
Katherine Vuckovic placed fourth in the women's 600m in 1:38.15, while Julia Berube Boutin was seventh in the 1000m in 3:00.08.
