BLUES 4TH AT OUA CHAMPIONSHIPS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team finished fourth overall at the 2023 OUA championships, February 10-12, in Kingston, Ont.

The Blues went 2-1 through pool play, defeating the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Guelph Gryphons 7-0, but falling 7-0 to the eventual champion and host Queen's Gaels.

Toronto then met the McMaster Marauders in the semifinals and dropped a 5-2 decision to set up a bronze-medal match with the Western Mustangs. The Blues fought valiantly but came out on the wrong side of a narrow 4-3 decision.

Amy Commisso, U of T's No. 1 player, earned OUA all-star honours after going 3-1 this weekend.
