The no. 1 nationally-ranked Varsity Blues won their fifth game in a row with a 3-0 victory over the Queen's Gaels on Sunday (Oct. 1) afternoon at Back Campus Fields.
 
It was the Blues who opened the scoring first, with rookie Alicia Lung putting one past the Gaels in the eighth minute. This is her second goal in as many games. Third-year forward Molly Koop doubled the Blues lead just at the cusp of halftime. 
 
U of T would prevail through the second half, adding another goal from Molly Cooper-Gray. 
 
The Blues now look forward to their midweek matchup with the York Lions on Wednesday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
