The University of Toronto Varsity Blues track and field teams hosted their annual Fred Foot Classic, while also travelling to London, Ont., for the Don Wright Team Classic on Saturday, January 21.

FRED FOOT CLASSIC (Results)
Reigning OUA and U SPORTS men's triple jump champion Femi Akinduro won his signature event with a distance of 15.06m. Fellow veteran Cam Bruce won both the 60m hurdles (8.06) and high jump (1.83m), while Jarod Manuel placed first in the men's weight throw (16.11m) and shot put (13.23m).

Onome Gbinije (7.61) and Jasmine Lew (7.67) place 1-2 in the women's 60m dash. Paulina Procyk was fourth in 7.90 seconds, while also placing third in the 60m hurdles in 8.86 seconds

Voke Ewhrudjakpor won the women's weight throw (13.71m) and placed second in the shot put (12.70m), while Emma Dale cleared 1.71m to win the women's high jump.

Justen Denman was third in the men's long jump (6.34m), while Eric Che (7.01) and Brandon Tang (7.07) finished 4-5 in the men's 60m dash.

Megan Bryson was fifth in the long jump (5.20m) and sixth in the triple jump (10.31m), while Quinn Miller, Zoe Petkovic and Bryn Walsh all tied for sixth in the women's pole vault, clearing 3.45m.

DON WRIGHT TEAM CHALLENGE (Results)
Moses Aidoo (1:21.13) and Nick Trieu (1:21.54) led the way in London with a 1-2 finish the men's 600m. Jack Djondric-Powell placed second in the men's 1000m in 2:31.46, with Anthon Mlynczyk finishing fifth in 2:32.35.

Caiden Schultz finished second in the men's 300m (35.59), while Ben Shore took third place in the men's 3000m (8:35.28). Brandon Raftis was fifth in 8:42.36.

Julia Berube Boutin (3:00.18) was the second runner to cross the finish line in the women's 1000m, while EJ Boston finished fifth (3:04.46). Emily Wilke (42.29), Maya Ryan (42.72), Sophie Myles (42.99) and Megan Torrance (43.24) placed 2-3-4-5 in the women's 300m.
