The Blues enjoyed a strong start to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Squash Championships, hosted by the Brock Badgers, at White Oaks Spa & Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Friday, March 11.

The Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's teams each won their opening matches to sit atop the leader board after Day 1.

In Pool A, the Blues women's team dispatched Brock 7-0 as No. 1 player Rhea Dhar swept Danielle Tonna 3-0 (11-4, 11-1, 11-2), while in Pool B, the Toronto men blanked McMaster 7-0 with Mike McCue, Ali Shalaby and Alexi Gosset each registering a sweep.
