The Blues curling program resurrected their home invitational bonspiel on Saturday, December 3, with six women's teams and six men's teams from Trent, TMU, Laurier, McMaster and York Universities. The event was held at Thornhill Club with three draws on the day.
 
The women played with split squads, getting all varsity athletes in the mix.
 
The Blue team dropped games to Trent, Laurier and McMaster, while the White squad went 2-1 on the day. They dropped the morning game to McMaster, 7-0, but rebounded with wins in the afternoon sessions, defeating TMU 7-4 and Laurier on the last rock, 7-5.
 
The Blues return to action January 7-8 when they travel to Hamilton for the McMaster Invitational.
