Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team took part in the 'Concordia Female Empowerment Festival' hosted by the Concordia Stingers from October 20 – October 22 in Montreal.

Going 1-2 over the three days, the Blues look to take this experience with them into the 2022-23 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blue opened the tournament with a 63-47 win over the host on Thursday afternoon.

Heading into Friday, the Blues fell 51-71 to the Trinity Western Spartan. Blues veteran forward Jessica Muha stood out with a game-high 18-points.
 
The Blues closed the tournament with a narrow 73-79 loss to the Université du Québec à Montréal Citadins. Blues third-year guard Lauren Boers led all players with 26-points.

UP NEXT: The Blues will open their 2022-23 season at home vs. the Brock Badgers on Friday, November 4^th at 6 p.m.
