BLUES BLANK PALADINS 3-0

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team beat the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Sunday (Oct. 2) afternoon at Varsity Stadium.
 
After eight games, the Blues have a 4-1-3 record. They sit second in the OUA East division with 15 points. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blues opened the scoring halfway through the first half with a goal from Stefano Capano (22'). The Blues would double their lead a minute later with a goal from Camilo Siabato (23'). Artem Tesker would finish the scoring for the Blues in the 39th minute. 
 
Tesker, Siabato and Kingsley Belele would finish the game with an assist each. 
 
The Blues took 22 shots with 13 on target. First-year midfielder Stefano Capano had a team high five shots with two on target. 
 
UP NEXT: The Varsity Blues return to action Thursday, October 6th when they faceoff against Toronto Metropolitan University at Downsview Park. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
