University of Toronto Varsity Blues figure skater Chloe Ing captured gold while representing Singapore at the 30th Southeast Asian Games on December 1, 2019 in Manila, Philippines.
 
The Markham, Ont., native scored a total of 152.67 points, 102.0 of which came from her free skate. Ing improved from her appearance at the 2017 SEA Games, where she finished with a silver medal and scored a total of 128.61 points.
 
The first-year psychological and health science major is one of many bright spots on a strong Varsity Blues squad that look to win their fifth consecutive OUA banner next month.
