BLUES, LIONS PLAY TO SCORELESS DRAW

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team remains undefeated following a 0-0 tie with the OUA defending champion York Lions on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 29) at Back Campus Fields.

The Blues remain atop the OUA standings with a 7-0-2 record with three games remaining in their regular season schedule.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blues controlled the play for the majority of the game, including a spectacular fourth quarter with numerous penalty corner opportunities.

Blues netminder Liz O'Hara and York goalie Serene Vilde stood strong in their respective nets in the draw.

UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Guelph, Ont., to take on the Waterloo Warriors next Saturday, October 5 at 12:30 p.m.
