NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
The U of T mountain bike team is gearing up for another great season of riding and competition. If you are interested in being on the team you are strongly encouraged to attend the first team meeting on Tuesday, Sept 10 in room 221 of the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport, located at 100 Devonshire Place (across from the stadium).
The team welcomes both male and female students of all skill levels. If you have never raced before there is a beginner division. If you are an expert racer, you will also have a lot of fun in your division. Must be a full-time student.

FAQ
Q: Does U of T supply bikes?
A: No. We wish we could! You will need your own mountain bike that is in safe working order, as well as a CSA approved cycling helmet
Q: Do we race?
A: Yes, the team participates in the University Cup mountain bike race series.
Q: I have never raced before. Am I good enough? I am scared.
A: There is a beginner division for first time racers. You will not be alone. Come enjoy some beautiful forest trails in Southern Ontario.
Q: Is the team CO-ED?
A: Yes, the team is comprised of both male and female student athletes. Each have their own race divisions.
Q: What is the training schedule like?
A: We have five practices a week you can attend. However, it is not expected that you will attend all. 2-3 is average.
Q: Where are the races?
A: All races take place with a 1.5 hour bus ride of Toronto. Transportation to and from the race venues are free and on a team bus. Usually there is also a free bbq after each race.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: There is a $60 players fee to join the team.
