DAKO STARS AS BLUES BEST THE GOLDEN HAWKS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's rugby team advance to the OUA consolation semifinals after beating the Laurier Golden Hawks 37-10 on Saturday, October 5 at Varsity Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Khadi Dako continued her fine form for the Blues as she scored three tries in the first half to give Toronto a commanding lead.

Five minutes into the second half, Dako scored again to extend the Blues lead even further.

The Golden Hawks scored their first try of the game in the 57th minute to narrow the deficit, but eight minutes later, Kashish Arya scored Toronto's fifth of the game to put the game further out of Laurier's reach.

The visiting Golden Hawks got another one back to try and close the gap, before Dako and Arya scored again for the Blues to seal another impressive performance at home.
