The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell 76-70 to McGill University in pre-season action on Friday, October 4 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport

HOW IT HAPPENED: McGill outscored the Blues 30-23 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory, despite Toronto having led at the end of the first and third quarters. Third-year guard Evan Shadkami led the Blues scoring with 24 points. UC-Riverside transfer Eric Rwahwire led Toronto's rebounding with 11, while sophomore Iñaki Alvarez led the team in assists with three on the night.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action on Sunday, October 6 as they take on the UQAM Citadins in St. Catherines. Tip off is set for 2 p.m.
