Three different players scored as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team defeated the McGill Martlets 3-0 on Sunday, September 30 in Kingston, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Rachel Spouge opened the scoring in the 12th minute and Emily Ziraldo put the Blues up 2-0 just before the half. Hilary Ziraldo added an insurance marker in the 58th minute, while Liz O'Hara and Sara Fredo earned the shut out in net. The Blues improve to 7-0-1 on the season.

UP NEXT: The Blues host the OUA defending champion York Lions in their 2018 home opener this Wednesday, October 3 at Back Campus Fields. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
