The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 74-59 to the UBC Thunderbirds in pre-season action on Saturday night (Sept. 29) at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year guard Keyira Parkes led the Blues with 10 points, three rebounds and three steals, while rookie Jessica Muha had eight points and four boards. Sara Knowles tallied seven points and a team-high six boards, with Mahal De Lay Durantaye adding seven points in the loss.

UP NEXT: The Blues continued their pre-season schedule on Saturday, October 13 as they host the Concordia Stingers. Tip off is set for 3 p.m.
