The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team hosts the Queen's Gaels in a vital match-up for playoff positioning this Sunday, September 30 at Varsity Stadium.
The match is free and open to the public and will begin at 3:15 p.m. It will also be streamed live on OUA.tv.
Both Toronto and Queen's are 6-3 at the midway point of the season, currently tied for third place in the highly-competitive OUA East division.
The Gaels took the first game of the season series, 2-1, two weeks ago in Kingston, making Sundays tilt all the more important for the Blues as they look to tie up the season series.
Fourth-year striker Jae Jin Lee leads the Blues and ranks third in the OUA with seven goals in nine games. He is coming off a four-point weekend, which saw him score three goals and add one assist as the Blues defeated both Laurentian and Nipissing on the road.
Sophomore midfielder Anthony Sousa is also a scoring threat, having tallied five goals in nine games so far this season.
The Gaels offensive output has been by committee, with third-year vetearns Michael Chang and Brevin MacKay leading the way with four goals apiece.
