Fourth-year veteran Hilary Ziraldo scored three goals as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team defeated the McGill Martlets 6-0 in their 2018 season opener on Saturday night (Sept. 15) in Waterloo, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Hilary Ziraldo tallied her first hat trick of the season, while her sister Emily, as well as Nicole Godman and Jaden Kozelj each scored in the win. It marked Kozelj's first goal in the Blue and White.

UP NEXT: The Blues have a tight turnaround as they take on the Queen's Gaels tomorrow (Sept. 16) at York University at 2:15 p.m.
