Western registered the first four points of the third set and rode the quick lead to the technical timeout, up 16-8. Toronto struggled, posting a .057 hit percentage, which ultimately cost them the set, 25-16.
The Mustangs continued their impressive play going on a 13-3 run in the fourth set. They kept the momentum the rest of the way to force a fifth and final set with a 25-16 score.
Western did not slow down in the fifth set, as they led 8-2 early on. Toronto attempted a comeback with a pair of points from both Feore and Veronica Deryl to push the score to 11-7. Unfortunately, they were unable to get any closer.
