The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team participated in the Jester's Crossover over the weekend (Nov. 3-4).

On Saturday, theBlues went 1-1 by defeating the Laurier Golden Hawks 7-0 but falling to the Western Mustangs 0-7. On Sunday, the Blues came up short in both their matches against the Queen's Gaels and Waterloo Warriors 1-6 and 3-4, respectively.

Rookie Alexandra Barette-Tsaur ranked at position No. 6 was the only member to win during the match up with the powerhouse Gaels team, defeating Ginny Mcclure 3-1 in games.

Despite the scores, Toronto is optimistic for the remainder of the season, including Sectional #2 to be held on November 24 at McMaster University.
