The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team defeated the visiting Saint Vincent Bearcats  73-62 in pre-season action on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 14) at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year guard Keyira Parkes led the Blues for the second consecutive day, draining a game-high 18 points, while adding four rebounds, four assists and four steals. Rookie Jessica Muha tallied 15 points going 6-for-11 and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Third-year forward Nada Radonjic added 14 points and a team-high 12 boards in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues kick off their regular season schedule on the road on Friday, October 26 against cross-city rival Ryerson Rams. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
