The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 88-52 to the Concordia Stingers in pre-season action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 13) at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year guard Keyira Parkes led the Blues with 19 points, going 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Third-year forward Nada Radonjic added 11 points and a team-high seven boards, while Mahal De La Durantaye put up 10 points in the loss.
Concordia was led by Myriam Leclerc and Caroline Task's game-high 21 points. Ladonna Lamouth led all players with 16 rebounds.
UP NEXT: The Blues close out their pre-season schedule tomorrow (Oct. 14) as they host the Saint Vincent College Bearcats from Latrobe, Pennsylvania at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
