The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team participated in Sectional #2 of the Jester's League on Sunday, November 26. 
 
Despite losing to the Brock Badgers 3-4 in the morning, the Blues kept their positive spirits alive and defeated the McMaster Marauders 6-1 that same evening.  It was an excellent result with three of U of T's top seven missing from the lineup.
 
Juana Chaves, the No. 2 seed for U of T, demonstrated great perseverance by coming back from a 0-2 deficit to win her match against Marina Botros of McMaster.
 
Next on the schedule for the women is the second crossover of the Jester's League to be held at U of T's Athletic Centre on January 13-14, 2018.
