NO. 6 BLUES TIE GAELS

Box Score The No. 6 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team tied the Queen's Gaels 1-1 on Sunday, October 1 in Kingston, Ont.

With the draw, the Blues remain undefeated with a 7-0-4 record and sit in second place in the OUA East division with a game in hand over the first-place Carleton Ravens (9-1-2).

Fifth-year striker Antonio Ajhert opened the scoring in the 85th minute, notching his second goal of the season.

However, the Gaels answered right back with a goal from Michael Chang to even the score and time ran out before either team could find the back of the net again.

Veteran goalkeeper Mark Rogal made two saves in the draw.

The Varsity Blues return to action this Saturday, October 7 as they take on the Ryerson Rams at Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
