NO. 10 BLUES TIE RAVENS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 1-1 draw against the Carleton Ravens on Saturday, September 10 in Ottawa.

With the tie, the Blues are now 3-0-2 and sit in second place in the OUA East division, while the Ravens are 2-0-1 and sit fourth.

After a scoreless first half, rookie midfielder Delano Capobianco notched his first goal as a Varsity Blue, redirecting a Nikolay Saveliev free kick into the net, in the 70th minute.

The lead was short lived, however, as Carleton's Mekonen Lovemore-Whi notched the tying goal six minutes later.

Blues goalkeeper Mark Rogal made four saves on the day.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Sunday, September 18 when they host the Ryerson Rams at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 2:15 p.m.
