The No. 10 University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer were dominant in a 4-0 victory Saturday afternoon (Oct. 8) versus the RMC Paladins stretching their current winning streak to six games.

Fourth-year striker Russell Rodrigues led the Blues, scoring Toronto's first goal in the first minute of play.

In the 17th minute, Rodrigues continued his strong work on the right side working some nice passing with teammate Delano Capobianco before setting up second-year striker Jack Wadden for the goal.

After the break, Rodrigues acted quickly again splitting the RMC defence before sending a beautiful pass to the back post where first-year midfielder Nick Sertage finished things off to make it 3-0 in the 47th minute.

First-year defender Nikola Stakic rounded out the Blues scoring in the 63rd minute converting a penalty kick.

Mark Rogal earned his OUA leading eighth clean sheet of the season for Toronto.

RMC goalkeeper Arman Afkham-Ebrahimi finished the match with two saves.

The nationally ranked Blues will have no time to rest as they welcome the Queen's Gaels to Varsity Stadium tomorrow afternoon (Oct. 9). Kickoff is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
