BLUES END SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team defeated the McMaster Marauders 12-6 on Sunday, October 23 to finish seventh overall at the 2016 OUA championship in Hamilton, Ont.
 
Eight different players scored in the solid team win.
 
Sarah Jamieson led the Blues with three goals and one assist, while Alex Walton and Sarah Morgan each tallied twice on the day.
 
Single goals came from Zoe Chad, Laurel McGillis, Megan Keane, Lynn Li and Camilla Anderson in the victory.

Following the championship, Geneva Calder was named an OUA first team all-star, with Sarah Jamieson earning second team honours.
