The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team hosts the Carleton Ravens in a battle for second place on Sunday, September 27 at Varsity Centre.
The game is set to begin at 3:15 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
The Blues are 5-2-1 and sit one point behind the second-place Ravens (5-1-2) in the OUA East division, making three points vital to catching the Ryerson Rams (6-1-1). U of T holds a 1-3-1 record versus Carleton in their past five meetings, last defeating Carleton in 2012.
It will be a battle of the keepers as Carleton's Felix Daigle and Toronto's Rab Bruce-Lockhart rank 1-2 in the province with 0.43 and 0.50 goals against average, respectively. Both have recorded four clean sheets in eight games so far this season.
Offensively, third-year striker Nirun Sivananthan leads the Blues with four goals, while forward Dakar Charles has three goals.
For the Ravens, Mekonen Lovemore-White tops the squad with four goals.
