The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the Ryerson Rams in their 2015 season opener on Saturday at Varsity Centre.

The game was a rematch of last season's OUA bronze medal match, which U of T won 2-1 (3-1 PK).

Ryerson's Adam Hemati was the lone goal scorer. The third-year midfielder buried a rebound in the 77th minute for the game-winner.

Blues netminder Rab Bruce-Lockhart posted three saves in the loss. 

The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, September 5 when they travel to Kingston, Ont., to take on the Queen's Gaels. Game time is set for 3:15 p.m.
