The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's rugby team fell 86-5 to the OUA defending champion McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 3) at Varsity Centre.

The loss sets up a grand finale for the Blues. Toronto travels to take on the Trent Excalibur (1-3) next Friday, October 9, and should they win, they would pass Trent based on head-to-head competition for the final playoff spot in the OUA Russell Division.

Ashley Gordon led the Marauders with three tries and six conversions, while Rina Charalampis and Saffara Whiteley-Hoffelner also had three tries in the victory.

Rookie standout Jordyn Orlando scored Toronto's lone try late in the first half.
