Box Score Photo GalleryThe University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team dropped a 45-9 decision to the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 24) in Ottawa and ends their 2015 season with a 3-5 record.
With Laurier's victory over Queen's, the Blues 3-5 record leaves them in eighth place.
Fifth-year quarterback Simon Nassar went 21-for-49 for 257 yards, while also rushing twice for 17 yards and one touchdown in his final game in the Blue and White.
Third-year running back Lukas Gavac rushed 12 times for a game-high 81 yards, while fifth-year receiver Boris Isakov made six catches for 97 yards on the day. Rahul Madan added five receptions for 92 yards.
Fourth-year defensive back Jaiden McBride led the Blues with eight tackles, while Marcus Grandison had seven. Defensive back Nick Hallett notched six tackles, one forced fumble and two break ups in the loss.
