MEN’S SOCCER FALLS SHORT

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Carleton Ravens on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 10) in Ottawa.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 8-3-1 but remain in second place in the OUA East division.

Carleton forward Andrew Bryan scored both goals, netting the eventual game-winner in the 11th minute and adding an insurance marker in the 75th minute of the match.

Toronto outshot the Ravens 5-3, but were unable to solve Ravens goalkeeper Felix Daigle.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, October 17 as they host the Laurentian Voyageurs at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 2:15 p.m.
